How would you like to see YOUR creation on OUR website?

The Press ClubWe’re looking to showcase the work of talented elementary students. All you have to do is send us your writing or drawings, and we’ll feature them on our blog! If you know a student between the ages of six to 14, tell them about the Telling Tales Press Club.

The theme this year is “Let your imagination soar”. Students can send us their own creation, or choose one of these options:

  • Write a book review

  • Draw a picture of your favourite part in a book

  • Tell us some facts about your favourite author

  • Create your very own book cover design

  • Write your own short story

  • Draw a map of your favourite literary place

TIP: Get inspired by a good book! Check out the authors and illustrators that will be at the Telling Tales Festival this fall. Here’s our handy book list to get you started.

So write, colour, be creative, and have fun!

You can send in as many entries as you like. Send your writing entry (max. 500 words) or scanned pictures (in jpeg format) to: pressclub@tellingtales.org along with your name, age, address, and email.

All Press Club entries will be entered into a random draw to win this antique pencil case!
