Ways to Support Telling Tales

Help us to spread the word

• Download our e-flyer and post in your community.
• Download our poster and display it in a prominent location.
• Hand out to schools, churches, camps, community centres.
• Watch for the winners of our 1st Annual Bookmark Contest and check back for information on next year's contest!
• Tell everyone you know about Telling Tales! Email them a link to our Festival Website.

Volunteer

We will need lots of hands on deck preparing and presenting this festival.
In this first year the best way to get involved is through one of our community partners.
Consider joining your local Rotary Club, volunteering through the Hamilton Literacy Council
or Westfield Heritage Village. These organizations are always welcoming volunteers –
ask specifically to be on the Telling Tales Committee.

“Swapping Tales” Children’s Book Sale

Bring your slightly used children’s books; the ones that you can bear to part with and donate them to literacy. You can choose to purchase ‘new to you’ second-hand books for just loonies, toonies and fivers - our top price!

All proceeds will go towards literacy projects for the Hamilton Area. Any unsold books will be donated to local literacy programs. Books should not be missing pages, overly damaged or worn out please!

If you would like more information about how your organization or company can support Telling Tales through:
