We’re looking for sponsors!

Show your support for children’s literacy

Are you a businesses or organization interested in supporting a love of reading among children in our community? Consider sponsoring the Telling Tales Festival – Canada’s most important children’s literary festival. All sponsors will be recognized throughout our 2016 marketing campaign, which kicks off in early May.

Sponsor Recognition

Sponsors will be recognized on our website, festival app, program, poster and festival guide. Further details can be found in our Festival Sponsorship Package and more information about the Telling Tales Festival can be found in our Fact Sheet. Deadline for logo recognition is April 15, 2016.

The Importance of Literacy

Literacy is an essential step in breaking the cycle of poverty, that’s why we’re committed to making Telling Tales an inclusive festival. In fact, with the help of sponsors and the school boards, we bring over 1,400 students and their families from high priority neighbourhoods to the festival. These special guests spend the day in the country exploring and watching stories come alive. This is the real reason for Telling Tales. As we all know, reading opens up doors to so many possibilities and opportunities.

Please join us in helping to raise readers and inspire a love of reading!

The 8th annual Telling Tales Festival will be held on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at the Westfield Heritage Village in Rockton, Ontario, and is expected to attract over 7,000 visitors.
