Dennis Lee Returns to the 6th Annual Telling Tales Festival
Celebrated Canadian children’s author Dennis Lee returns to the Telling Tales Festival this year to celebrate the 40th anniversary of his classic book Alligator Pie. Lee will be joined by more than 20 of Canada’s best children’s authors, illustrators, storytellers, and musicians who promise to entertain and delight over 7,000 children and their families.
“Dennis Lee helped us to launch the very first Telling Tales Festival and he proved to be one of our biggest fans,” says festival found Susan Jasper. “We are thrilled to welcome him back and play a part in celebrating this important milestone in Canadian children’s literature.”
This year’s festival takes place on Sunday, September 14th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Westfield Heritage Village in Rockton, Ontario. Admission is free, and free parking and shuttle service are available at the Rockton Fairgrounds. Visitors are welcome to bring their children in strollers and are reminded to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and umbrellas to join in the fun, rain or shine!
