Celebrating Graphic Novels at HPL Central Branch
September 21st, 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

This interactive afternoon session is geared to youth aged 8-12.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about how a graphic novel is written and illustrated from two of Canada’s finest YA graphic novelists. This free event provides a great opportunity for tweens to learn the skills needed to start their own graphic story.

When is this?

Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 1 pm. to 3 p.m.

What is the cost?

This is a free event. 

 What are recommended ages? 

This is geared to young people age 8 to 12. Children need to be accompanied by an adult.

Is seating limited?

Yes. The room has a capacity of 170. Seating is on a first come first serve basis.

Where can I park?

There are paying parking lots located off of York and McNab. We encourage public transportation, walking and biking to those who can.

Can I get my books autographed?

Yes.  We are not selling new books but bring your copy to the event and they will happily sign.  Authors love meeting their fans and vice versa.

Is it difficult for seniors, children in strollers, and people with disabilities?

Hamilton Public Library is fully accessible.
