Kids: Become junior reporters and have your work published!
Join author and journalist Joyce Grant for a special Telling Tales Press Club Journalism Workshop during the Telling Tales Festival on Sunday, September 17, 2017. During this interactive workshop kids six and up can become a junior reporter and learn all about what a journalist does. Joyce will walk them through a news story, how to answer the five W’s, and then send the new reporters out into the field to cover their own story!
Kids will receive a Telling Tales newspaper template and be sent off on their very own assignment to find a newsworthy story! Junior reporters that ‘file’ (hand it their stories) will have their articles published on the Telling Tales website as part of the Telling Tales Press Club.
